A possible conundrum or a twisted root

To my intuition, English sprinkle, Spanish pringar (to stain in little dots, moisten with water before ironing, etc.), English freckle and Gaelic breic (sp?) "spotted, freckled", seem to be related. But breic and pringar don't go with one another --unless pringar were from Germanic, but that would leave out freckle.
So either any relationship between freckle and sprinkle is coincidental OR the root had 2 expressions, one aspirated, the other not: *brVk-, *bhrVk-.
How must of this apparent aspirated vs. non-aspirated root do we see?
