I haven't being paying too much attention to your discussion, so I may have missed something. Anyway, do you (Torsten) still(?) think that OIr. peccad 'sin', Brit. Celt. *pex- 'to sin', *pexOdr/*pexadyr 'sinner', *pexOd 'a sin' are not borrowed from Latin? Or what is it your are arguing?
