I'm afarid it isn't a question of quantity, but quality. Their respective chronologies, areal distributions, internal relationships and sound correspondences make impossible for all the roots reconstructed for PIE to belong to a single language. This is why I support a multi-regional model.

On the other hand, the scarcity or complete lack of common lexicon relative to agricultural (not to speak of other Neolithic techonologies and metallurgy) as well as Mediterranean fauna and flora point to a Mesolithic chronology.
