Is there an IE origin for substantive ending - u:ra in Latin? E.g.: figu:ra, rasu:ra, mensu:ra, u:su:ra

In Portuguese it became very productive, mainly for create nouns after adjectives:
feio "ugly" > feiura "ugliness"
branco "white" > brancura "whiteness"
gostoso "tastiful" > gostosura "tastifulness "

bu also some expressive nouns:
beleza "beauty" > belezura "remarkable beauty"
