Many thanks. I don't really mind complicating matters if it ultimately leads somewhere. The identification of the single loan word for IE *deyw-/*dhew- from another language would be a great step forward and would hopefully put an end to this male gender domination of the concept 'light' [luminosity] which I find unsupported in ancient linguistics or mythology.
