Only while making those tests. Otherwise, UTF-8 by default.

But now I've got it: whenever using diacriticals & al. special letters, I
shouldn't press the "preview" button; just post the message.

UTF-8 doesn't show me the cedilla-c above, but -1252 does it.

That's right, the cedilla-c above are rendered OK by -1 and -2.
