Apparently Latin "cl" remained "cl", at leaste in initial position :

Lat. clamare Lat. clavis Lat. octo Lat. pecten
Vgl. klamuar Vgl. kluf Vgl. guapto Vgl. piakno
Rum. chema Rum. cheie Rum. opt Rum. piepten
Itl. chiamare Itl. chiave Itl. otto Itl. pettine
Fr. clamer Fr. clef Fr. huit OFr. pigne
Span. llamar Span. llave Span. ocho Span. peine
Port. chamar Port. chave Port. oito Port. pentem

Yet, I will suggest to read "The Lexical affiliations of Vegliote" of
John Ifsher since there is - alphabeticaly sorted - the vegliote
vocabulary compared with other Romance languages. A simple search with
google will guide you to this book where you can read it online.
