Dear all
I would like to refer one more issue related to Nostratic and Dravidian
All proto constituents of Nostratic reflects Voiced series except Proto Dravidian.
so as the case with Fricatives.
Is it an instance where ProtoDravidian has diverged from proto Nostratic
before the emergence of Voiced series or is it a problem of
Proto Dravidian reconstruction.
Decendant languages of ProtoDravidian is relecting voiced series as well as fricatives.
Tota in general agree with even sibilants of ProtoNostratic and cenral Dravidian offers affricates
The explnataion available on the appeareance of voiced series in Dravidian is that
it is a result of contact with Indo Aryan
Is it agreeable that a constituent of proto Nostratic, protoDravidian, has lost voiced series and fricatives
and reappeared through diffusion in daughter languages?

Subject: [tied] Laryngeals Indo-Uralic

Given that a few people out there are postulating Indo-Uralic, how would Indo-Uralic layngeals look? What would they have transformed into in Uralic? Apologies if IU is off topic --we can move this over to Nostratic if the moderators wish.
