Ceres (g. cereris), the Roman goddess of agriculture, has Osco-Umbrian counterparts named Kerria, Kerri, Kerres. What is the origin of this ending -es, -eris? There are another examples of this ending? The PIE root *k^er- is almoste sure for explaining the name.
