>I have no idea who Darkstar is. The site is interesting though. Darkstar seems to be pretty good about making disclaimers and qualifying his/her claims. That said, I'm not buying the hypothesis that Turkic is an IE language. Darkstar places too much emphasis on phonetic similarity in his/her articles. As a result he/she compares Turkic to Indo-Iranian and Armenian languages based on phonetic similarity. He/she would be better off comparing Turkic and PIE sound correspondences which is likely to be a more useful approach.
