The cartoon which caused most offense was of Muhammad with a bomb in
his turban. Basically it said that Islam had expanded by the sword, an
opinion which used to be standard fare in textbooks until then. There
were riots in several countries, and three of our embassies were
torched. That's how much I want to say on the subject, people here who
have dwelt on the subject more now have police protection 24/7.
Recently (26 Jan) some people in Malmö also tried to stick a toe in
the water to see if they could demonstrate like they used to. Police
had to evacuate them. Check Youtube.
