Yes, Francesco. That's why I asked this question. Since Italian can
stress ANY syllable, there's no problem in keeping the original stress
pattern in the foreign words. Neither French, nor Czech, nor Polish
can do the same thing. This is the point.

P.S.: How do you pronounce the plentiful vowels of French and English?
Do you preserve the distinct vowel qualities? How would the learned
Italians distinguish between "bog, bug", "bag", "beg", "big" (British
R.P.)? ;-)
