This article by Butanaev is listed and annotated, along with many
other articles by the same author, at pp. 71-73 of Vajda's book:

The reason why I excluded it from the list of articles I provided in
my earlier post (which I took directly from Vajda's book) is that we
were talking about URALIC influences on Yeniseian languages, whereas
Khakas is a TURKIC language.

=============

Khakas has a very strong samoyedic substrate
and many khakas speakers used to be Samoyedic speakers.
And this is the case for all Turcic languages attested around the Sayan
mountains.

It should also be noted that the direction of borrowing proposed by some
people is sometimes strange.
For example the word sas "swamp" of Samoyedic Koibal is supposed to be
Turcic !?
What about Finnish suos- then ?
