No, it's your private theory, not a fact.

I meant something else, but the very existence of the tómh1o-/*tomh1ó-
contrast shows that accentual differences need not be accompanied by
ablaut changes.

Hittite has <hant-> 'face', the word from which Gmc. andija- was derived.
