Should anything to be done about it? Lat. Tusci: < *turs-koi, with an
Italic ethnic suffix added to what seems to have been an early name
given by foreign neighbours to the Rasenna ~ Ras(')na (Umb. Turs-cum,
Ion.Gk. Turs-e:noi). Whatever its origin, it should probably be regarded
as unrelated to <Etru:s-> despite their superficial similarity (and
whatever folk-etymological connections may have formed between them).
