I grew up just outside of NYC and have lived in the city for a decade
now - it seems to me that most New Yorks pronounce these three words
virtually the same (of course, a great number of NYC residents hail
from other parts of the country/world - it's sometimes hard to find
folks who were born and raised here).

In my experience I'm thinking of people I knew in college in the 70s who were from Yonkers and Long Island, who were virtually the only people I ever heard distinguish these in person --as opposed to TV and movies. So maybe it's also died out in NYC as well.
