The word is Toch. B <ka:lys'ke>. He says that it has the
form of a diminutive, possibly from PIE *kal- and related to
ON <halr> 'man (poet.)', OE <hæle(ð)> 'man, hero', OHG
<helid> 'man, warrior, hero', and ON <ho,ldr> 'free peasant;
man (poet.)'.
