ancient syrian seal

Hello group,
I've uploaded three images to a new folder called "Linenthal" in files: syrian seal 1, 2 & 3.
They show an ancient seal said to be 3rd millenium BCE, serpentine, 35X30X16mm. It seems
to show an eagle and two letters perhaps. Can anyone identify the letters for me? Or is it
possible they represent snakes from the Indo European myth about the eagle who was left to
guard young snakes, ate them, and then brought haoma to mankind? Or something else?
Thanks for any help on this.
I have three marble columns, 9 - 13" high, purchased in Kabul in the 70s, sometimes linked
to the haoma ritual, sometimes said to be tent weights. Is there anyone who has made a
study of these objects? I can post images. all best, Peter Linenthal
