How come you suck at it, then?
Or, more scholarly: How come you reject learning it? And why is that
so widespread in India? I've seen articles from Chinese linguists I
couldn't possibly distinguish from those of European and American
ones. Out of India you mostly hear: No AIT and linguistics can go to
hell. No violation of our sacred texts.
