I'd say that after C>0 a diphthong + V > diph. but V1 + V2 > V1+long.

I don't think either series above is complete. Initial x()y > j^y >
zy > zgj but during the course of these changes metathesis can occur
if possible (that is, if CV occurs later in the word and so to CyV).
