Whether I write clearly in general or abbr. too often is not what
I'm asking about. In this specific case I abbr.

noun and/or adjective

as

noun/adj.

If I had meant what you thought I would have abbr.

adjective formed from noun

as

adj. << noun

Now please be clear so you don't set a bad example for me: when you
said your interpretation of my abbreviation resulted from my habit for
excessive abbreviation did you mean that you thought I misused the
symbol '/' ? If so, did you think that in addition to excessive
abbreviation I also misuse abbreviation? If not, when is '/' used in
that way?

If you thought I meant 'adjective formed from noun', why did you
think the noun was 'foot'? If you thought I made a mistake why didn't
you ask for clarification? Why didn't you ask which noun I meant, or
whatever question was foremost on your mind? Why did you continue
acting as if the word I posited was formed from foot after I repeated
expressed incomprehension at your use of 'footic'?
