Genetics seems to support Ostler --the closer you get
to the Khyber Pass, the higher the incidence of
blue/green eyes and light hair. A large percentage of
ancient mummies from Central Asia have blond or red
hair, suggesting that India was indeed invaded by
lighter skinned people from Central Asia. But we all
