I guess you won't find any entry in DEX which should say " from
Albanian", but everywhere it is said "cf. Albanian". The reason there
is because the stuff is hard to put on a simple line. The phonetical
aspect of the Romanian words shows generally a snapshot which can be
found in the phonetical history of the Albanian language but this is
a time line which was before the arrival of the Romans in the
Balkans / Dacia / Panonia or where ever one wishes to place them
geographicaly. Therefore, at that time have been not any Albanians
but the ancient Ilirians, Thracians, Dacians, call it how you like.
Thus, not having Albanians at that time, you cannot loan it from
them. Not knowing exactly from which speaking group theye words have
been inherited or borrowed, one cannot say for sure that the word is
from Dacian or from Ilirian or from Thracian. Beeing actually just in
Albanian to find, you can compare it just with the words which are in
Albanian. Hence, "cf. Albanian".
