Why claim to have read? Because I do not agree with everything he wrote?

His three-way hierarchy is a great literary tour de force but I doubt it has
much real correspondence with reality.

Interesting reading, though. Like Robert Graves: fascinating if flawed by a
pre-occupation with Great Mother ideas.

Dumezil's theory is based on a structural analysis
of what the different PIE divinities, myths and rites are about.
I think he made a case strong enough to enjoy
lasting interest, even among sceptics.
I don't think your fancies and obvious lack of understanding
will ever reign outside your own bedroom.
