I will help you only with the first bit although Finno-Ugrian is not the
easiest case in point because of the many sound irregularities.

So i ran through the material for */ü/. The regular correspondence
for Moksha is e. You will find it in words like
*külmä/*külmi `cold' > Mk kelmä
*künc^i `nail' > Mk kenz^ä
*kün'ärä `elbow' > Mk kener
*mün,ä `with (after, behind)' (??)
*nüc^ä `prop' > Mk nez^ä
*n'üktä `pluck, rip, harvest linen' (??)
*nüdi `handle, grip' > Mk ned
*südämi `heart' > Mk sedi
*süli `lap' (??)
*sülki `saliva' > Mk selgä
*s'üdi `charcoal' > Mk sed
*üli `over, above' (??)

Some of your words don't seem to exist !?
the original scheme was u_i.

Irrgular ones for Moksha (conditioned?) you will find in words like:
*küs'i `ask' > Mk kize
*küji `viper' > Mk kuj
*pün,i `hazel-grouse' > Mk pownä
*s'üklä `wart, nipple' > Mk tsilgä
*s'üks'i `autumn' > Mk sjoksja
*ükti `1' > Mk fkä (stress on 2d)
*üji `night' > Mk ve
*vüdimi `nucleus, marrow' > Mk uj

Quite obviously these reconstructions are inadequate
and the problem is not conditioned changes.
It's more serious.
