Now please listen. I am going to tell you something valuable.

1) citing "correspondences" as you did above is _not_ providing data;

you need to present several examples of these relationships, or refer to
another source where they are systematically listed if you wish to
abstract the conclusions from the data;

I suppose my unorthodox theory
is most likely to exist nowhere,

But if somebody wrote something on how
to compare Basque, PIE, Salish, PAA, Kartvelian,
Uralic, Chinese, Eskimo-Aleut, North caucasic,
and Yenissei
using orthodox phonetic correspondances,
I'm grateful for the reference.

2) going about it in a non-disciplined way results in faux pas like
suggesting <szb> in one post, then <ts-dz-b> in the next.

===========
It's not a faux-pas
I wrote *s_z_b because it was more simple
and required less explanation.
You can call this a surface-format
a deeper reconstruction is *ts_dz_b.

Dhe: in Pokorny is not a faux-pas
it's just an old-fashioned format
that we now prefer writing *dheH1

And I think in Thirty years from now
nobody will write that
to sew in PIE was *syw or *sywH1.

Voulez-vous coucher avec moi - is timeless until we add

I suppose this is not a serious proposal
and to make things clear, with you,
It's : "non, j'ai pas envie."

"Voulez-vous" is clearly Present time.
and "coucher" is "plain infinitive"
And without any indication of time,
the implied meaning is "right now"
or "as soon as it becomes possible".

You're very conservative.
These things don't necessarily happen
only after the last prime-time commercial,
Some people do it any hour of the day.
