Explain the deal with Tournai/Doornik
Wouldn't Grimm yield the opposite dentals?
Why Germanic /d/ and non-Gmc /t/.
Wouldn't /Þornik/ be expected?
And the /k/ of Doornik, wouldn't one expect /-g/ in
non-Gmc?
Why not *Tournaigue?
Or why not Doornik if we're looking at Tournais <
