There are plenty of books out there with those claims.
Joseph Campbell made a career of boiling down these
doublings.
In cases such as Esther, Mordecai, Saint Saturnine,
St. Hippolytus, St. Martin, St. Diana, St.
Bridget/Bride --the evidence is obvious
In others, the accoutrements are the same --e.g. Jesus
and Mithra have the same birthday, both are associated
with Magi, both are sons of God, etc. And that's what
João is referring to.
I went to the Temple of Yemayá in Havana -which is
also the Roman Catholic Basilica de Nuestra Señora de
Regla. They have a Black Mary nursing a White Jesus
--incredible.
