On the DVD --at least in the US-- at the end he does
his routine in very bad French at a cabaret in Paris.
He talks about the absurd French they teach in the UK:
Le chat est dans le jardin, le singe est dans l'arbre
and tries to figure out how he can use it in a
meaningful sentence.

=============

If you ever read
Astérix chez les Bretons

The authors invent an absurd dialog
between the Gauls and the "Bretons"
Using a lot of sentences like
The garden of my sister is bigger
than the house of my aunt
etc
Same purpose
of "using" prefab sentences
