2. (p23) <'ans^> (s^ = shin) is not a possible Hebrew word. The
singular <'iysh> would require explanation, so I suggest you just give
the plural <'a^na:s^iym> 'men'. Are you claiming that the third
consonants (PIE *r v. a Semitic sibilant) are cognate?

I think the root is ?an "man"
which also exist in Samoyedic *en / yen "man"
s and r are different (proto-)phonemes.
