I saw Greek spellings with e:ta - ATTHLAS, with acute over H. It's in
Priscus if I don't mistake. Which means, it was long [i:]. But why?

this name was something like *[atti:la].
Geminate -t- and long -i-.
It explains why the accent is on the long i:.

I suppose this *[atti:la]
is not coherent with Gothic, right ?
