I am not saying that there are daanavas in celts.
 
i said Danu, who is the mother of Daanvas in the Hindu mythology has also figures as an iimportant character in Celtic mythology.

There are no "Daanavas" in the Celtic mythology! Where did you get
it from?

That's really the point here. "Phonetic semblance" means nothing.
Ukrainian druh "friend" has even more "semblance", so what? Do you
know what the comparative method is about?

It's the same as in the Maya case, really.

I guess it's German betrĂ¼gen "to deceive" which is related to Skt.
