At the same link as provided below is another article to its right connecting current Tuscan inhabitants genetically with Turkey and the Near East.
 
The article targeted  below announces only that there is a _weak _ link between the ancient Etruscans (their nobility) and present day Tuscans. This is precisely what we should expect. The upper classes of almost every country today will be found to have weak links genetically with the peasantry or poorer classes.
 
The article does not address the issue of whether current Tuscans are related to Turkish and Near Eastern populations. Therefore, it is immaterial to the question under discussion.
