No, according to Sorin Paliga and his analysis of many Illyrian
place-names in Slovenia: Davçe < Ad Avçe, Damar < Ad Amar, Deles < Ad
Alesso, Deveà < Aveaco, Darte < Arte , it could be from *ad- 'to,
near, at', but as preposiotion used as preverb, it could be of unkown
origin, like in Greek.
