I think that to some kind of the same root leads as well Alb. (g.)
dallandyshe/(t.) dallëndyshe 'swallow' < *g'hol-ont- (*g'h- > d-, l >
ll / V_V) probably through late interpretation of formant -ont- in
-dyshe 'two parts'. As far as I know there is no consensus that PIE
languages have had common word for 'swallow'.
