1. what about :
i-kn-u "ash" versus kon-ia both from *k_n "ash"
(this was not in previous mail)
2. what about :
bi:-neô = fu:-tuere (is it not a verb !?)
3. bheidh and bheudh
the semantic difference between : to be aware and to persuade
seems a bit spurious when one looks at other items
where semantics is extremely lax.
I would reconstruct only one root : *bh_dh.
4. educare, teach, didactic
one root. *d_k
5. i alternates with another vowel
with o
Greek
gingis "turnip"
gongulos "cabbage"
Possible connection with *gwel "ball-shape thing"
gland, Lit gungulys
i alternates with zero
pinu-skô
pneu-ma
i alternates with e
kirnaô
kerannumi to mix
i alternates with o
pi-nô
po-tis

I don't think these Greek items fit in the Standard theory.
Greek speakers seem to be unaware they should not use *i and *u
as possible vowels in a root of consonants.

Reading your present or past mail is pointless. You never address the challenge I made.

I can only conclude that you have some kind of reading comprehension problem.

I am commenting on your illogicalities not for your benefit, since you seem incapable of learning, but for the benefit of anyone else who might be reading your posts, and mistakenly think there is any validity to what you write.

<snip>

Long i: versus zero
ki:ku-s strength
shvayati to be strong
*ku- > shv as in kuHon "dog"

There is no reason to reject *i and *u as vowels.

 ***
You yourself have provided the reason for rejecting *i and *u as vowels:

your failure to furnish 5 VERBAL roots of the form *CiC, or

5 VERBAL roots of the form *CuC.

If *i and *u are *V, then providing VERBAL roots of the form *CVC with *i and *u should be no problem.
