Some of the names are Irish, some are derived from the Bible, and
others are Gaelicized forms of names derived from Latin pseudo-
historical sources which were popular in medieval Ireland, such as
Isidore and Orosius (Mil Espaine being a notable example - it is
derived from Latin miles hispaniae "soldier of Spain"; for more on
