The "laryngeal" should be H3 (xW). Latin probably has a late
derivative of collis, not directly related to the others in -no-.

I'd say they're from a perfectly normal *kol-xW-mos (words in -no-
don't have o-grade) with dissimilation.

Unlikely; aL>oL in Arm. All H are lost equally between syl. there.

I think each IE language has its own laws about H-loss between syl.,
some very extensive, definitely not limited to H1.
