Then it's probably just a misprint. I can see how it might seem
that all my theories on this subject may be based on misprints,
mistakes, and speculations. However, I'm sure that KY existed in
Proto-Germanic, and will keep investigating. I haven't given all my
evidence, but the optional nature of some changes, and the alternative
explanations others have given, make proof difficult.
