If you think this goes back to PIE, I have to disagree. There is
t>s between various C and l differing among branches. The most easily
seen is Greek Vxtl > Vxsl (x = h2):

*tlaxtlos > L tabula; G te:lía 'board'

*staxtlos > OPr stakle 'support'; G sté:le: 'block'
