That would make sense if PIE had an athematic ppp nom *<stém>-t-, obl
*<stem>-tó-; with <stem> = CeT-, ppp nom *CéT-t- > *Céss-, obl
*CeT-tó- > *Cestó-, but 'tool' nom *CeT-dhér- > *Cestér-, obl.
*CeT-dhér- > *Cestér-
