An excellent point. It _proves_ that the /p/ in Gallo-Brittonic is not
"dialectal PIE" but an inner Celtic innovation. In Sabellic Italic, the
treatment of *kWé- > *kWo- > *po- (different from original *pé-) also
points to a post-Proto-Italic change.
