Su-gambri

I don't know if this one has been tried before:
Su-gambri (Sicambri etc) "sons of Cambri[vi]us", cf Tacitus' Gambrivii;
possibly, but not necessarily in imitation of the Semitic tradition of
naming the people as sons of the Ur-ancestor, eg 'bani Israel' and
similarly with Arabic bedouin tribes. *su- would be the root in *sunu-
etc, what the exact form was in the tribal name we have no chance of
recovering. Cambrivius/Gambrinus resurfaces in the middle ages as a
king of the Germani who introduced beer-brewing, having learned it
from Osiris/Isis, as appears several places on the net.
