In Italic original nw became nW between vowels. In transparent
derivatives w was restored (u-stems). In P-Italic as kW>p so nW>m.
Latin later apparently
has nW>n (though if nW>nw in some environments it
could be obscured by later changes).

PIE > Latin:

* ghzhènwó+s 'traveller > stranger > guest/host'

* ghzhènwóf 'hospitality/courtesy > honor'
