All i-stems in Latin have the same vocalism in all their cases, so we
are CERTAINLY dealing with a case of analogical generalisation. If the
weak stem of 'nose' is supposed to be *(H)nh2s-, why is it reflected as
<nas-> and not *<a:s-> (or *<nis>) in Sanskrit?
