Today my thoughts go more in direction of investigating
a possible connection between words for "crooked, hook"
and "circle" of the types
*kWVk, *kVk, *kVn,, *kVnk, *wVn,, Vng
and
*kVrk, *krVk, *krVn,,

There's no way to connect words as *kW- > *k- / > *w- >
zero, and *kVk > *krVk in PIE, but it seems to be possible
in Old Chinese, which has old prefixes for that job, as
well as an r-infix (with the sense of plural or paired
object). I'm trying to get to around hammering it out in
details. It would be nice to have found a common source
for IE for both straight-/flat-/fullness (*plen,-) and
roundness, after all, those concepts suffice for
constructing a geometry (in the original sense of the
word).
