Re: Mygdonia x Makedonia

Regarding DON in Makedonia: can it be related to Latin word DONUM,
meaning DONATION? Compare with Lithuanian surname Bagdonas, which
comes from Russian surname Bogdan, which comes from Russian words
BOGOM DANNYJ and means GOD'S DONATION. Compare with name of
Sarpedon, which probably was son of Zeus. I think name Sarpedon
comes from words related to Romanian word SARPE, meaning SNAKE,
SERPENT, and Latin word DONUM. God of thunder turned into SERPENT in
Lithuanian main myth:
