Well,

A couple of the "laryngeals" probaly were fricatives (Velar, uvular,
pharyngeal)

Hawaian has the sound "h". In languages that do not distincguish
between several laryngeal sounds, the "h" is often pronounced as an
phfaryngeal fricative.
