An interesting web site indeed. As a geologist I have to point out
the compiler missed "syenite", an igneous rock name in wide use.
I just now made my first contribution to Wikipedia, in the article
"Aswan", substituting "granitic rock" where it had read "marble" in
the sentence: "The quarries of Syene were celebrated for their stone,
and especially for the granitic rock called Syenite".
