Kuhn has a list of Germanic-Latin cognates in which Germanic *a
corresponds to Latin *a, which they should by regular development.
Among them is
Gothic aTnam (PDat), Latin annus "year"

So they might be Nordwestblock, borrowed by Italic in its old home.

Cf. Proto-Finno-Ugric *oDe "year"
